MYEONG GAI ORDER EXPLAINED

UNITY MOTHER: The leader of the Myeong Order.  The first Unity Mother is Sung Jenai Mai.  The Unity Mother is the keeper of the Crystal of Life.  She wears the Crystal of Life all the time around her neck.  It is rumored that this crystal gives the Unity Mother her special abilities.  Also, the origin of the Crystal of Life is unknown.  Jenai is believed to know where it is from but has kept it secret.  The Crystal of Life is also guarded by two chosen Knights of Unity.

UNITY TEMPLE: The Unity temple was built in the capital city of Aerok (Luoes).  Prior to the exodus, the Myeong Mai served as the High Priestess of the Unity Temple in Luoes. The Unity temple leadership included one High Priestess and two Priestesses. After the exodus from Shylzan. Three Unity temples were built.  The main temple where the Unity Mother spends most of her time was built in Shylzan City on Cyhnon.  Another temple was built on New Ailartsua (Roadie 5) in the City of Guyana Springs.  A favorite vacation spot of the Choi Clan.  The third temple was built on Planet Paradise.  The temple is on a mountain top named Unity Mountain.  The temple is the resting place for the first Unity Mother.  Pilgrimage is often done by her followers to drop flowers at her Sepulcher.

NORTH HOUSE (bugjjog Jib): The North house is the house of the Unity Mother.  One High Priestess is responsible for the keep and teaching of the house.  The high priestess has two who serve her as aids.  One is a priestess, Truth Seeker, and the other is a priestess, Truth Dreamer.  The house has many Unity sisters who are being trained to be priestesses.  Acolytes are those seeking to gain the first level of being a member of the Myeong Gai order (unity sister).  All the houses have followers who do not become members of the Myeong Gai but are identified as followers.  Followers are believers of the Myeong Gai teachings but do not have any of the required skills, such as Telepath, Empath, or Dreamer.  These are the Sons of Unity, Daughters of Unity, and the Knights of Unity.  The knights of unity have caused some controversy because so much about them is kept secret.

Unity Council: The Unity Council includes the Unity Mother, the High Priestess from all the houses and the Temple, and the two priestesses from all the houses and the Temple.  The voting members of the council are Unity Mother, 5 high priestesses, and 10 priestesses.  Each house and temple can also appoint two Unity sisters to the council.  The Unity Sisters have half a vote.  So, the maximum number of votes would be 20, not including Unity Mothers’ vote.  The Unity Sisters only serve for one session and must be appointed for each meeting.

The other houses are the same as the North house, but do not include the Unity Mother in the house leadership.  The Unity Mother is still the leader over all the Myeong Gai order.
